SSTs - Info for Unit Leaders
This page covers how unit leaders can access and review Student Survey of Teaching results for their area, including dashboard access and current access listings.
Accessing & Using Results
The Unit Leader Dashboard is administered in Qualtrics. There are two ways to access it:
Option 1: Direct Link(only works for unit leaders who have been provisioned access)

Option 2: Through Qualtrics Account (must have an existing account)
- Go to http://survey.ku.edu and log in with KU Single Sign On credentials.
- Once logged in, find the project "KU Student Surveys of Teaching - Dashboard for Unit Leaders" under Projects and Programs and click to open the dashboard.
Note: If prompted, select "No, I don't have a preexisting account here" — an account will be created automatically.
If unable to access the Unit Leader Dashboard using either method, contact AIRE at aire-help@ku.edu.
The Unit Leader dashboard includes two pages:
- Summary Report: The SST results for your unit(s)
- Trend Report: Term-by-term comparison of each survey question result
Starting Spring 2026:
A new set of these two tabs reflects data from the updated SST instrument. Previous data remains under tabs labeled “Archive.”

Unit leaders have access to a Qualtrics dashboard with survey results for their unit. Unit leaders include deans, department chairs, and area and program directors, or equivalent administrative roles, who have supervisory responsibility for instructors.
Current unit leader access listings are maintained on the SST SharePoint site. Unit leaders can view and verify which individuals have access for their area, and request changes by contacting AIRE at aire-help@ku.edu.
